IWG engineers and workforce designed, supplied, and prefabricated 5000 m² modular offices at West Qurna-1 Degassing Stations D6, D7 & D8. The scoop of work included supply and installation of power generation plant, office supplies, distribution panels, skid mounted facilities, security check points and fence, sewage and plumbing systems, and all site cabling and lighting. This design/build development project was completed with an integrated delivery approach. Our team focused on placing full accountability for architecture, engineering, and construction with one entity. West Qurna is one of Iraq’s largest oil fields, and it is located north of Rumaila oil field west of Basra. West Qurna-1 is a 9.1 billion barrel oil field in Iraq. ExxonMobil is the operator of the field and has 25% of the field’s stake.
